"I have been training with David since January of 2010. I had not worked out since high school back in the mid 80’s. I was out of shape and weighed 217 pounds. After meeting him for the first time, he made me feel at ease and he explained how he would create a workout routine that would allow me to build strength, and lose weight. One of the main reasons I decided to work out with David was the one-on-one training he provides. His workouts are specially tailored for you and he focuses 100% of his time and attention to you during each session to ensure that you are working out in a way that does not result in injury to yourself.

 I have been working out twice weekly and today weigh 168.5 pounds and have put on over 18 pounds of lean muscle mass. We met and after discussing my goals, he did my first body assessment. It was not bad for a man at my age, but I wanted it to be off the charts. So over the next 6 months with David’s instruction, motivation, and humor, we managed to get me off the charts. I started at 19% body fat and now at 8% lost 3 inches around my waist added inches to arms and chest and I feel and look great. "I started working out with David in May,2001. It’s hard for me to 
believe it has been over 10 years--probably because David makes the 
workouts fun and something you look forward to, so the time passes 
quickly.
 
The thing that I like most about David as a trainer is that he tailors 
your workout to help you meet your goals. For me, I wanted to get into 
better shape, lose some weight, then maintain that without having to 
give up the things I enjoy—which, unfortunately, include some things I 
probably shouldn’t be eating or drinking all that often. So, rather than 
try to convince me I need to 'bulk' up, or eliminate things from my 
diet, or get to zero body fat, etc., David just makes sure that I do the 
things necessary to maintain my goals. Though, he does, in his own subtle 
ways, try to steer me toward an even healthier lifestyle.
 
Also, I really appreciate David’s flexibility with my schedule and his 
always positive attitude. There are times when my work forces me to 
cancel on short notice, but David never has a problem with 
rescheduling and is very understanding.

I’m one of those people who probably wouldn’t make it to the gym on my 
own. For me, it takes having an appointment and someone there to push 
me; and I couldn’t imagine anyone I would rather work out with than

"I have a big vision for what I want. But, it has sometimes felt unattainable—too many problems to fix, too many challenges to figure out. Exercising alone, it was easy to feel like transforming my body could never happen.

Luckily, David has a really great way of breaking down fitness, health and nutrition goals. He turns the bigger vision into smaller steps that I can handle. He typically gives me one additional element to concentrate on, in addition to my usual workout, during a month or 6 week period. It might be, lose 2 inches around the gut, or put on more lean muscle mass. Last month, he told me to focus on building back of shoulders and arms. You get the idea.

David's approach to concentrate on a single additional workout goal during a workout month, has been very effective. It helped motivate me, to feel like I'm covering off long-term goals, from a solid base workout, but also chipping away at more challenging goals, embodied in these little monthly "baby steps" challenges.

Anyone who is serious about looking better, or slowly but surely building up better health and exercise habits, owes it to themselves to work with David. Give yourself a reasonable time horizon, think about a few monthly goals that you can really achieve—with David's help, you'll be amazed at the results. They come faster than you thought was possible.
